YA - Beautifully Crushed Petals

Young Athena makes music that inspires action. Every song is written with care and arranged with precision. Beautifully Crushed Petals was no different. Grand in its composition and in its themes; it deserved to be accompanied by imagery that communicated its encompassing nature.

Creative Direction

Dynamic, profound and epic in nature. These were the phrases that guided the team of creatives who collaborated on this project.

A lot of great visual concepts were put forward that represented the themes of the song. As Creative Director it was my job to link them all narratively and thematically. In order to do that, I came up with the concept of the “Cosmic Viewfinder” which allowed the audience to stay connected to the story we were telling without any exposition.
